Great! Came here for dim sum on a Sunday and was immediately seated. We got an array of things on the dim sum menu including the siu mai and the turnip cake and they were all delicious (the menus have pictures which really help!). We also got a congee, orange chicken, and a hot and sour soup, both were great! Our favorite were the egg tarts which usually come in a pack of 3, but our server was really nice and gave us another one on the house because we were a group of 4. Overall, great spot for chinese!

Went here for an event with about 13 people. Our waitress was phenomenal - even remembered where one couple sat 6 months ago during their last visit. We all shared food and every dish was really good. My favorite was salt and pepper squid.

Excellent Chinese restaurant with Week end Dim Sum menu that is brilliantly executed. The portions are well served and the prices reasonable. The service is fast and friendly and there is a good parking on the premises. This is what Chinese restaurants in America used to be and there is a bit of nostalgia if you depended on them for meals when I. College in the 80s.

This is a local Chinese neighborhood restaurant. My family has been going here for years. Fabulous dim sum and delicious dinner menu. Our son recently got married and chose to have a “Chinese wedding Banquet”. I am Chinese my husband is Scottish. A few months ago we had a family tasting party (that’s how we chose our banquet menu.. it was truly hard to keep our total dishes to 10-11. The food is so good. Chrystal and Grant were instrumental in all things, set up, food ideas, and execution. We had 90 people in the restaurant, the food was fabulous, service was excellent.. I don’t know how they did it all. Of course the Chef was totally on top of everything. I cannot say enough good things. It is a small restaurant but our party was a success .. people are still talking about the food… the parking lot is small but no one seemed to have had a problem finding street parking that night. My posting is a very well know Scottish bagpiper in Seattle named John McBride. Probably the first time he played at a Chinese banquet was at our wedding banquet many years ago.. the second time was at our sons. Bamboo village is fantastic for lunch, dinner and parties.. I know many of our friends will be heading back to try more dishes. I cannot thank them enough for all their hard work!!

Been living and dining around the Puget Sound for more than two decades and have sampled many of the local restaurants. Bamboo Village is hands down one of our favorites. The dim sum is on par with (and for some dishes, rivals) the most notable spots in the International District. It's so good that they decided to serve it all day. (Full dim sum goes until 3 pm with a more focused selection from 3 until closing due to popular demand.) The dinner menu is a mix of Hong Kong style and Americanized options, so you have plenty of choices when ordering. Some of our favorites include the best green onion pancake in Seattle. (Remember Fu Man Dumpling House and their thick, savory, crispy pancake that put all others to shame? This one is just as good!) The Three Delicacies with Garlic Sauce has a mix of spicy, tangy, and sweet flavors with a load of veggies and proteins (chicken, beef, and shrimp) and is outstanding. We've never had a bad dish here. The staff are super nice and helpful, always greeting us with a smile, answering our questions, and helping us with our order. Portions are plentiful, so you may leave with some to-go boxes. The interior is clean and airy with simple decorations. Bathrooms are well maintained and conveniently located. Dining room can accommodate larger parties, so it's a good place to bring friends or coworkers. They also cater. But the real stars are the food and service, which are both generous. Highly recommended.

I had never discovered this gem of a dim sum place before. The service is excellent, and everyone is very friendly. I’ve visited many dim sum restaurants, but never seen portions like this. The shrimp dumplings are huge, with four pieces in each order. The fried tofu rolls filled with shrimp and three per serving, we could only finish one and a half orders. The sesame balls are a must try!! I’ve never had sesame balls with such a fresh, soft, mochi texture. My kids loved them, and they also enjoyed the mango pudding. We were also surprised by the reasonable price. Anytime plan a walk at green-lake,highly recommend to stop by.

I over ordered and we got so much food. It was good, but not what I was expecting. They must’ve changed cooks or something because today everything tasted just a little bit Different than it did before. The tofu chunks were bigger and the seasoning was different, just as an example. The restaurant was packed when we got there. They are very accommodating for large groups.

We had a opportunity to try the this hidden gem after change of ownership. It is a phenomenal Chinese restaurant that has a full menu of Chinese American food and top-notch chef that is preparing an authentic Chinese dishes menu. On top of the traditional dishes, they also make dim sum on site. Unlike a lot of restaurants, this one offers plenty of free parking and is conveniently located to the south of the zoo. Our go to place after a zoo visit in future!
